i want peace more than freedom

Recently, people might have heard that things happened in Tibet and the Olympic torch relay. They said they wanted freedom in Tibet, they wanted free Tibet...here, i'm not judgeing them. they sure can have their opinions, and that's totally fine. but the thing is that Olympic is a sign of peace. Look at the duration of relaying, they were trying to seize the torch, they were trying to do something bad. Ok, now, i 'm wondering, what the hell do they want? Making China embarrasing or making Olympic ashamed? Some media or people said that chinese were so anti-pro-tibet because of chinese media; however, one thing is really ironic is that their news source came from Tibet exiled government, which is believed as the truth?( are you kidding me or scott?) Also, about these tibetan protestors, i am curious that in the past 50 years, what have them contributed to your hometown?Have you gone back your hometown? By the way, one point i don't get it is that how could these tibetan immigrate to europe or north america. 30 or 40 years ago? if they were commoner, they could not afford to do that. i'm pretty sure about this. well, this obviously is another story.
some people say that it looks like people who obtain the government policy will consider as good. They blame chinese authorities abusing human rights. Ok, let's say, if the chinese government allows them free, then..?They have nothing there, how could they develop economic?Who would be their leader? what? don't tell me American would give them a hand again, like they "did" to Iraq. also, what kind of society they would be? back to slavery?like 50 years ago? well, i guess people in the exiled government are still familiar with that. anyway, i 'm not sure if it's because different tradition that it seems like western people tend to think about themselves, or just some of them. the reason i ,mention this is that according to what some of them thought, people should fight for their rights, for their freedom, ok, i wanna ask them, is that ok for those addicts in their countries? is that ok for them to grow marijuana in their back yard? what? it's illegal? no, that's just an opinion, right? maybe, decades later, human beings' philosophy change and taking drugs becomg a good manner. i'm not saying people should tolerate or suffering something, but they need to know the both sides of the sroty before they write critic, right? those minorities in China get more advantages from government than we, Han, do. they are still poor, we know this. Although we did some economic myth, China is still a developing country, average income is really low. not just tibetan are poor, ok? the economic in whole western China is bad, and we are focus on developing it.
Many places around the world want independent. can we just let them go? no!! why we have a united nation? what for? also, i wanna ask those protibet people, in your mind, which world do you want, a world with one government named united nation, people have the same goal, there's no war any more, or the world with thousands of countries who fight for their own benefits? it's like a family, one has a man at home, who has a wide knowlege, and strong, other family members need to listen to him, and have rules to follow. Another family, people can do whatever they want, even children can take drugs, but there are lots of arguing, qurralling in this family. i recall the bibble tower at this moment. Myth says we were speaking same language, having same goal. i remember Murray said that one day he wished there's no white, black, brown, and yellow, people treat each other like friend. no war, no benefit arguing...
There's a song we Chinese learnt since primary school, one line of the lyrics is that 56 RACES ARE 56 FLOWERS, 56 BROTHERS AND SISTERS ARE ONE FAMILY.

If the majority of people in Quebec voted to leave Canada in a free and fair democratic vote, I would support their right of self-determination even if I didn't want them to leave Canada. That's what democracy is all about. Quebec shouldn't be forced to be part of Canada if the majority of people there do not want to be part of Canada.
